Post Office Stores, Warninglid

The Hovis sign is prominently displayed on the old Post Office Stores on the crossroads in the heart of Warninglid.
All buildings in the photograph were demolished long ago leaving just memories of how things looked many decades ago.
Just past the shop you get a glimpse of Hemsley’s Garage with a paraffin pump near the road. Mabel Wren remembers walking to the garage to collect paraffin from the garage many years ago.
