Handcross Band 1932

I do not know where the picture was taken, but clearly the band were engaged to entertain the crowd. I can recognise just three, being Bill Robinson sitting on the extreme left, Wally Bristow sitting third from left, and Lt. Col. J. Raymond Warren, sitting to the left of the bass drum.
The Large Version shows an invitation to members of the band to attend a garden party at the Hyde in Handcross and be entertained by the band of the 4th Battalion of the Royal Sussex Regiment. The invitation was by the High Sheriff of Sussex and Mrs Eveline Warren; the former being better known in the village as Col. Warren.
