Handcross Band concert 1969

In May 1969 The Handcross Band entertained the village in the Parish Hall and they were joined by the Crawley Barber Shop Harmony Club, Howard and his Electric Organ, and Freda Ringrose.
In earlier years Freda had entertained the village in a somewhat different way when she was known as Freda Cox, landlady of the Fountain Inn.
The event was well reported in the local newspaper and the cutting can be read by clicking on Open Document.
