Staplefield cricket match report 1881

This newspaper report of 1881 from the Mid Sussex Times was copied out by hand by my father, Roger Ray, and then typed out on his vintage typewriter; no such suitable camera, photocopier, scanner being available then!
The cricket game was played with a great deal of needle, with Balcombe accusing Staplefield of using players from outside their recognized geographical area when they met earlier in the season.
It is not recorded if the two teams enjoyed their drinks amicably in the Half Moon after the match!
The Large Version shows the full report, from which it seems clear that Staplefield batted first.
I wonder what T. Heaseman's bowling figures were for each innings!
