Handcross Home Guard reunion

Along with other platoons, the Handcross Home Guard was disbanded at the end of 1944 once the threat of enemy invasion had evaporated.
A couple of years after the war, a Home Guard reunion was arranged, which I’m sure everyone enjoyed despite the rather serious faces depicted. Perhaps they had just been informed that the beer has run out!
On the left, from nearest the camera, are:- Ralph Tulley, Les Moore, Archie Smith, Unknown, Unknown, Col. Giles Loder, Bill Hazelgrove, and, sitting back, Archie Mills.
On the right:- Harold Tulley, Bill Doggett, others unknown.
