The ruins of Slaugham Place

This is a view of the ivy-clad ruins of Slaugham Place, with bright sunlight streaming through one of the windows.
Some may say that the backlight spoils the photograph, but I think it adds atmosphere to a building which was abandoned many years ago and was slowly returning back to nature. Fortunately the decay has now been arrested and the ruins will be forever a lasting memorial to this historic house.
The Large Version shows a close up.
