Handcross tennis club awards

At the 1963 annual party of the Handcross Tennis Club, trophies were awarded to Laurence Ray (junior singles), and Basil Dick and Cath Chamberlain (mixed doubles). Presenting the trophies was Mrs Eveline Warren of the Hyde, second from right, who permitted the club to use the former estate cricket pavilion as their headquarters, and, as can be seen from the paraphernalia hanging on the wall, the building was also used as the scout headquarters.
The Large Version shows a newspaper cutting of the event.
