Two tennis ladies at Handcross

At Handcross tennis club headquarters, waiting to go on centre court are Hepsy Brown and Nora Ray.
Their fashions contrast somewhat with Hepsy preferring the Helen Wills Moody style of the 1920s, and my mother choosing the more modern Christine Truman style of the 1960s.
The club held a Tennis Ball (really!) in the Parish Hall in Handcross in March 1971, and the poster for the event can be viewed by selecting Large Version.
