Baptism certificate at All Saints, Handcross

Further to picture #1429 when the curate of the Parish was named as Rev. Arthur Cole here is a copy of the certificate recording my baptism at All Saints, Handcross on Whitsunday, 24th May 1942. The document has mostly been completed in very faint green ink
Rev. Cole carried out the ceremony, but he would not have to travel far as he lived at “Rutherford”, just a few yards from the church.
He spelt my name incorrectly as Ronnie Edwin Cousens (and not Cosens), but I assume this does not invalidate my admission into the church!

Comments:
I forgot to say; my sponser, Rosina Holland, was the lady that lived in the flat below our family. Her flat was on the ground floor behind the baker's shop in the High Street.
Although she was not related, we knew her as Auntie Rose.
