Slaugham Parish Council matters 1958-1964

The newspaper cutting records the resignation of Dr Greville Tait as Chairman of the Slaugham Parish Council due to ill health in 1958, and the appointment of Mr Ralph Tulley to succeed him.
Mr Tulley still held the position of Chairman when he died in 1972, aged 75.

Select Open Document to view a cutting reporting on a Council meeting in 1964, when Roger Ray announced that he wished to retire from his position of Clerk to the Council, playgrounds were discussed for both Handcross and Slaugham, and a bus shelter was requested at Woodhurst Hospital in Pease Pottage.
