Slaugham Parish Council matters 1972-1975

Roger Ray became Chairman of the Slaugham Parish Council in 1972, succeeding Ralph Tulley who died in office.
He considered that it would give the Chairman some added authority to the position if they wore a badge of office. He had one designed which he presented to the Council saying that he hoped that succeeding holders of the office would wear it thereafter.
