Hyde cricket club versus Royal Sussex Regiment

The date has been estimated but the event has been given as the Hyde cricket team playing against a visiting side from the Royal Sussex Regiment. Probably this is an annual event organised by Col. Warren against his old regiment,
From the left I can recognise:
Back row: 1st A. Bartlett (umpire), 4th Bill Doggett.
Middle row: 4th Col. J. Raymond Warren, 6th H. Sadler, 8th Tom Bailey, 9th Walter Biggs.
Front row: 3rd William Biggs.
When the cricket club folded the clock was removed from the pavilion and re-sited atop the tractor shed of Hoadlands Farm on the Hyde estate, behind the village school.

First on the left in the front row is my father, Albert Victor Skilton, who worked as a gardener on the Hyde estate.
I only arrived on this website in trying to find my Mum, who worked at High Beeches.
I can't thank you enough for doing this. I never knew this about my Dad. What a surprise!
