The Busy Bee Restaurant was situated behind the Jet filling station, but the building was demolished to make way for the A23 cutting.

I have heard from Jeremy Bojczuk that his recollection is that the Busy Bee burned down in the 1960s, and stayed as a shell for some time. It was eventually knocked down about the same time as Richardson's garage, or shortly afterwards.
