Handcross Motor Sports Club

It is a miracle it has survived, but here is Bulletin No. 2 from March 1949 of the recently-formed Handcross Motor Sports Club.
Unfortunately there appears to be no photographs surviving of any of the events. Unless you know better!
The members were a sturdy lot by all accounts as they had three events organised for a long weekend in March, 1949.
Locations for the motorcycle scrambling were various, and included Anniswood at Warninglid, The Rough on Shelley Plain, and under the beech trees in High Beeches Lane next to the entrance to Dencombe, now fenced off..
The club eventually wound up in the 1960s.
Select Open Document to read both pages of the well-worn item. It is fairly difficult to read in places and therefore a readable transcription is included within the document.
