Staplefield youth cricket match

At the 1956 annual meeting of the Staplefield cricket club, Charles Adams proposed that to encourage younger players to take up the game some matches should be arrange for the youth of the village and surrounding area.
The photograph shows a good turnout for one of these matches played on Staplefield Common.
From the left, back row: 1 Fred Edwards (Umpire), 6 John Davey, 7 Ron Pateman, 8 David Mordaunt, 15 (Last) Kevin Pennifold.
Front row: 3 Barry Ray, 4 Michael Pateman, 5 Graham Pateman, 7 Chris Wilkinson.
Please can anyone add more names? I understand that many of the players came from Sharrow School on Holmstead Hill.

Cricket - Staplefield
Front row No 6, sitting on Graham Pateman's left is John Robins Jnr, and I am also the 'unknown' leaving the field with Graham.
I think I was bowled second ball, much to my dad's (John Robins Snr) disappointment. I was better at fishing!
I think front row No 8 is Richard Perry who lived in the farm cottages south of Holmstead Manor.
Fred Edwards was also scorer and village postman; I sometimes helped him in both activities. He lived in one of the cottages by the Jolly Tanners and was a mean cribbage player.
