Morris Register visit the Fountain Inn, Handcross

For many years the Fountain Inn has regularly welcomed the Morris Register which caters for enthusiasts of the marque, be they cars, vans or larger commercials and designed before 1940.
Here can be seen Mrs Joanne Robinson handing out glasses of delicious orange juice to two of the club members.
Joanne and her husband, Stan, took over the pub from Mrs Elsie Davidson in 1980. See picture #1666.

Dave Elder used to have Shenley Barn garage in Balcombe.
He looked after my Mini. His vintage post office vans and GPO telephone vans were often seen on TV to add the right period feel.
Often, I believe, the postman driving was Dave!

I knew Dave Elder back in the 1970s. He and Keith West looked after my Hillman Hunter at the Shenley Shed.
Does anyone know where they are these days?
I am planning a reunion and it would be good to see them both again.
