Coronation of George VI - Britiah Empire

Tulley’s drapery van was decorated for the coronation of George VI, with the British Empire as its theme.
Much of the decoration seems to consist of cardboard advertising cutouts from the shop. There is a large cutout fixed to the front of the van which depicts a man waving an Australian-style hat, but quite what he is advertising isn’t clear!
Driving the van is a young-looking Harold Tulley.
The Large Version shows a close up.
