Warninglid school's new swimming pool

Following their visit to the local Magistrates Court (see #1711), the headmaster of Warninglid school and the chairman of the school managers sought other ways to inflict punishment on the pupils in their care.
Funds were raised in short order to pay for a new swimming pool and associated equipment and in July 1981 came the official opening.
The picture shows headmaster, Mr Don Sinclair (right), and chairman of the school managers, Mr Michael Thompson, throwing 11-year-old Mark Pratt into the pool, much to the delight of the other pupils.
