In the course of conducting research for one of his books, my father, Roger Ray, approached Michael Warren who lived in Barcombe, East Sussex with his wife, Gillian, and their family.
Michael’s reply was very comprehensive and I am hoping he would not have minded me reproducing it here in full. It is well worth reading and can be viewed by selecting Open Document.
