Coronation day Handcross (1 of 4) Armed Services

The Handcross Coronation procession of 2nd June 1953 made its way along the High Street and then Horsham Road, before returning to the Recreation Ground. A short video of the procession will be uploaded soon on picture #1779.
One of the tractor-pulled floats represented the various services of the armed forces which had fought in the Second World War which had ended only a short eight years earlier. A representative of the nursing profession sat in the middle.
Please can anyone name those pictured?

Comments:
The soldier on the left is almost certainly my dad, Ted Cosens, who fought in Italy and North Africa.
