Handcross British Legion cricket cup match

I have had to estimate the year but this is Handcross British Legion cricket team in one of their matches in a round of the Sussex knockout cup.
Striding out to the middle to field are, from the left: Bob Sayers, Roger Ray (Capt), Ken Doggett (partially hidden), Unknown (partially hidden), Basil Wilkinson, Arthur Brown, Len Steadman, Percy Faulkner, Nelson Cook, Joe Ray, Alan Smith.
Worthy of mention is Len Steadman who was steward of the Handcross Social Club for many years. As a juvenile delinquent, I remember him well when we lads used to frequent the “Jukebox Room”. (See picture #1675)
