Buses outside the Black Swan

Two open-topped buses stand outside the Black Swan while the daytrippers buy refreshments on their way to the coast. On some occasions the large bar accessed from the rear was incredibly crowded with trippers from dozens of cars and charabancs and I recall coach drivers shouting out “The coach for Peckham leaves in 2 minutes promptly. Be on it, or walk home”. This led to several pints of King and Barnes being left untouched much to the delight of the local lads loitering close by! The Large Version link shows a close-up of the buses, although the quality is not good.
