Scout team at Marbles Championship (11 of 12)

For the sixth consecutive year the Slaugham Scouts team won the junior British marbles championship held at Tinsley Green on Good Friday 1957.
The actress, Dawn White, donated a decorative shield for the winning junior team in 1939 and she returned to Tinsley Green to present it Barry Ray, captain of the scout team.
From the left, the other team members were Richard Hayler, Colin Boniface (hidden), and David Knape.
