Slaugham Twinning trip to Normandy

The Slaugham Twinning Association members visited their twin villages during the weekend 4th to 7th September 1981 and at the Saturday night soirée there were the usual speeches and exchange of gifts.
The picture shows, from the left, Nora Ray, Helen Beard (Secretary), Pierre Prunier (Mayor of St Martin des Besaces), Mme. Jones (Translater), Roger de Panthou (Secretary of St Martin), and Roger Ray (Chairman of Slaugham).
Select Open Document to view another photograph of the same event with Roger de Panthou holding aloft the gift from Slaugham. There follows a copy of the Order of Service held in the village church in St Martin on the Sunday morning.
The Large Version shows a group of the Slaugham members happily whiling away the time on the long journey across the Channel.
From the left, they are Nora Ray, Fred Morgan, Barry Ray, Roger Ray, and Brian Message.
A closer inspection reveals two one-armed gentlemen on either side of the picture. Can anyone identify them?
