New playground for Pease Pottage

A group of Pease Pottage children have gathered on the plot of land which is destined to be their playground. They all seem quite excited by the news and don’t seem at all bothered that the grass needs cutting!
The playground is located between the estates of Barn Close and Black Swan Close.
The full story of the playground and pictures of the grand opening in 1984 can be found at picture #1853 and picture #1854.
The full newspaper cutting can be viewed on the Large Version although the reporter did not conduct a lengthy investigation!
