Handcross Park, East Lodge

East Lodge, formerly of the Handcross Park Estate, is situated along the Balcombe Lane. I suspect that the artist who hand-tinted the picture may not have chosen the true colours.
The house was an integral part of the Handcross Park Estate when the whole was sold by auction on 25th July, 1905. The catalogue describes the house as the Steward's House. The Document link shows the relevant page of the auction catalogue, but, due to the large size of the page, about 25% of the tree species are not visible on the PDF file.
