Horsham Road residents fight traffic (2 of 3)

Further to picture #2034, here is another newspaper cutting of Handcross residents gathered outside the Royal Oak pub in the Horsham Road campaigning for better safety measures to be taken in respect of the high volume of traffic using their road.
Those identified are, from the left: 1st Dorothy Sayers, 3rd district councillor Andrew Macnaughton, 5th John Duval, and, between the placards with small girl, Pam Bird with her daughter, Rosalyn. Pam was the organiser of the protest movement.
