Rock Cottage, Slaugham

From the description printed on the postcard, this seems to be a “twin” postcard to picture #194, and taken on the same day. The text on the reverse says “Rock Cottage on right of card. Here four female generations spent the day at Bosworths in laughter and play on February 5th 1934. Lovely early spring sunny barmy day, snowdrops, pussy willow, baa-lambs-tails, young green grass, pale blue sky.” The Chequers Inn would have been in operation for only eleven years and they were offering “Rock Ales & Stout”, and “Luncheons and Teas Provided”.
