Constance Doggett with new bicycle at the Hyde

Above is my mother, Constance Doggett (1923-1997), with her brand new Raleigh bicycle,
She saved her salary to purchase the bike while working at the Hyde as parlour maid when she was 15-years-old in 1938. The bicycle cost £5-19s-6d.
The photograph was taken around the back entrance to the Hyde House where the kennels were situated.
My mother’s siblings were Lily Snelling, Hepsy Brown and Will Doggett (twins), Dora Doggett, and Ken Doggett.
