Dr Nick Barrie has kindly permitted this aerial photograph taken with a drone to be uploaded to the website.
Nick was the village GP, based in Cuckfield, since 1981. Originally the practice used to hold a Monday afternoon surgery in Listers (Miss Dench’s sitting room) and then the office of the Seaforth Hall.
They used to look after a lot of Handcross and Staplefield people as well. He used to work with his father, James Barrie.
He retired as a GP in January 2018, and has enjoyed serving the community over all that time.
He is now a droneologist and CAA Approved Drone pilot, operating mainly in the Mid Sussex area.
