Slaugham Place ruins

The three arches of the ruins of Slaugham Place form a dramatic silhouette for a lady and child to have their photograph taken. The mansion was built in the late 1500s but fell into disrepair barely 150 years later. Stone was taken for constructing other nearby buildings but for the last 200 years all that has remained are the three arches, the kitchen fireplaces, ovens, and some walls with windows and doorways.
