Church Fete at Handcross ParkIn June 1954 a fete was held in the grounds of Handcross Park in aid of church funds.
Naturally Rev. Edward Bradbrooke attended the event and brought along one of his shirts. Parishioners were invited to sew a patch onto the shirt, which, it is reported, turned out to be a wonderful way of raising money!
The fete was held in the grounds of Handcross Park by kind permission of Col. J. R. Warren and Mrs Eveline Warren.
