Warninglid School - The girls 1909

Further to picture #951 which shows the boys of Warninglid school, the photograph above was taken on the same day and shows the girl pupils with two of the teachers.
No names of the pupils are to hand, but the teacher standing is said to be Miss Kidd. I can find no trace of her in the census or other records.
The lady sitting in front of Miss Kidd is named as Miss Hollins, but I believe she is assistant teacher, Mrs Ellen Hollins, wife of the headmaster, Mr Josiah Hollins.
Their daughter, Miss Floy Hollins, is named as an assistant teacher at the school on the census return and it is most likely that she is the lady seated on the left.
The Large Version shows a close up.
Select Open Document to view a copy of the 1911 census return for School House.
The 1901 return shows both Mr and Mrs Hollins at School House, but their two daughters are not.
