Beaters at Bells Farm, Warninglid

The photograph shows a group of men and one lady with most carrying the tools of the trade, their sticks. They are the team of beaters for the regular winter shoots held at Bells Farm in Warninglid. The picture was taken in October 2018 at the start of the pheasant shooting season which runs from 1st October to 1st February.
In the background is the farmhouse, a timber-framed Grade II listed building from the 16th century.
From the left they are: Dave Pearce (Handcross), Will Hart (Rowfant), Will Scrivens (Steyning), James Scrivens (Steyning), Will Mitchell (Warninglid), Phil Cooper (Pease Pottage), Paul Nightingale (Forest Row), and two serving New Zealand Police Officers on holiday.
The Large Version shows a close up.
