St Mary's church at Slaugham (2 of 6)

This is the front cover of a 1947 Christmas card from Rev. Aylmer Cameron of The Rectory in Slaugham. It shows St Mary’s from the churchyard to the south of the church.
It was drawn by local artist, Reg Green of Handcross and demonstrates the 100s of individual ink lines required to produce the final picture.
The Large Version shows the Christmas services offered at each of the four villages in the Slaugham Parish. Alas, there are no longer churches in Pease Pottage and Warninglid.
Select Open document to view two articles from the Parish Magazune. The first was from 1946 and the second from 1948.
