Tilgate staff at Christopher Nix's 21st birthday

In early 1929 Christopher Nix became 21 years old and to celebrate the event the staff and family of those working on the Tilgate estate were assembled to have their photograph taken. Those identified are Charles Nix, back row 10th from the left and Christopher Nix in front of him. George Cook is in the back row, fifth from the left. Harry Ray is first from right, sitting on ground, Gerry Ray third from right in back row, Dorothy Ray fifth from right in back row, Roger Ray third from right seated on ground, and Sammy Gates second from right seated on ground.
