Auction sale of No.1 Batchelors Buildings

A small part of the prestigious auction sale of Handcross Park in the City of London on 10th July 1873 comprised one of Batchelors Buildings. It was only when I enhanced the clarity of the scanned auction catalogue that I noticed the feint pencil figure of £150, and I can only assume that that was the winning bid. The pencil figure is just visible in the top left corner.
