I took this photograph when the "Red Rover" stagecoach made a special run from London to Brighton on, perhaps, some sort of anniversary date. The large tube-shaped container next to the coachman holds the coaching horn and a couple of umbrellas. I also note that the tube bears the initials “RR”; for Red Rover, I assume.

Great picture of the Red Rover. I've been to see this great coach a few months ago, my great-grandfather was the coachman on it between 1911 and 1914.
