Mothers and their babies in Handcross

Mothers and their babies have gathered outside the cricket/tennis pavilion at the Hyde, but it is not clear what the occasion is. I am held by my mother, Joan Skinner (née Wilson), who is the fourth mother from the right.
Please can anyone identify any of the other mothers and babies.
