Farm wagon outside the Red lion

A farm wagon drawn by two horses is making its way pass the Red Lion. The wagon would have been constructed with elm boarding running the whole length of the vehicle. Commonly called a “bow” wagon due to its curved shape, smaller wheels were required at the front due to the restricted turning circle caused if larger wheels were used.
