Slaugham church viewed from the vilage

This is a view of Slaugham church from outside the Chequers pub, with Chantry House partly visible on the left.
A large log has been placed to preserve the grassed area outside the Chequers. However, fairly soon after this photograph was taken, the grassed area was removed to create the car parking area we see today.
