Aerial view of Handcross new bypass

The northbound carriageway on the bypass appears to be in operation. There are few cars to be seen anywhere, with just one vehicle in Truggers. The allotments between the Horsham Road and the Slaugham Park drive look very productive with no fallow land to be seen. Click on Large Version to see more detail.

Comments:
I actually watched the bypass and bridge being built from my back garden (27 Truggers) in the late 50's. I even remember the day they started the 'slip' road opposite the entrance of Truggers.
