I assume this is the competition winner holding a large carp perhaps, but why did it cause such a crowd?
Second from left behind the bowler hat and smoking a pipe is my Grandad, Walt Chinnery from Staplefield. It was Easter Monday 1912 just before he went off to the Great War.
