The is a view of B T Kinnard & Son's yard at the top of Handcross hill in the spring of 1972 where stakes are being prepared for the Haywards Heath Market.
The circular saw to sharpen the stakes is on the Fordson Major in the foreground. It was a busy place full of wood, logs, beansticks, and chestnut posts.
The Rover P4 car belonging to Grandad, Tom Kinnard, can be seen behind the fruit and vegetable round vehicle.
