Christmas card from Lower Ashfold

The Christmas card was sent by Sir John Lindsey Eric Smith CH, CBE (1923–2007) from Lower Ashfold in Coos Lane.
He was a member of an important banking family and became a director of Coutts and Co in 1950 at the age of 27. He was involved in several conservation charities and founded the Landmark Trust in 1965.
He was a Conservative MP for the Cities of London and Westminster from 1965 to 1970, was knighted in 1988, and became a Companion of Honour in 1994.
The card is not particularly Christmassy and the photograph is described as being of Jupp’s Walk, Ashfold. I cannot find this name on a map of Ashfold, but perhaps someone can supply the location.
The Large Version is referred to in the comments below.

Comments:
I believe this is a path that runs due south from Ashfold House down to Hampshire Lane.
I came across this impressive walk when going through the woods with my dog over 40 years ago. The beech trees on the right were bigger then so the photograph may be earlier.

The Large Version, now offered above, dates from the 1970s and I think it may well be Jupp's Walk.

I live and work on Ashfold Estate and I know that part of the estate as the Beech Avenue.
As far as I know the trees were planted as part of an ornamental garden as all around that section of the forest I have found remains of structures, and brightly-coloured flowers, shrubs, and rhododendron.
I believe it to be a good several hundred years old.
The problem now is that as these trees are getting quite large they are slowly falling apart.
