Warren Cottages celebrate the coronation

Following the abdication of Edward VIII in the previous December the coronation of George VI took place on 12th May 1937, the same day scheduled for the coronation of his brother.
Not to be outdone by the decorations in the High Street (see picture #128) the residents of Warren Cottages put on their own show.
No doubt that is the photographer’s car parked on the side of the road.
