Staplefield Vicarage

With the church being consecrated in 1847 and the school being built in 1848, it was not long before a vicarage was considered necessary. Although Rev. A. Bazette had initiated the design during his term as incumbent from 1853 to 1855, it was not until Rev. J. T. A. Swan (1855 to 1866) came to serve that the design was finalised and the vicarage was completed around 1860.
