Brook Cottage, Slaugham

Brook Cottage may have been two residences many years ago as suggested in the Slaugham 2010 Year Book, but generally I think one can say that the description on the postcard “Brook Cottages” can be classed as an error by making the name plural.
An American couple, Clarence and Florence Graff, owned the property from 1915 to 1945 and details of an auction selling the furniture and fittings took place in 1945. A catalogue of the auction and notes on those employed by the Graff family can be found on picture #688.
