A gathering outside Highbury Cottages, Handcross

A group of villagers have gathered outside Highbury Cottages in the Horsham Road in Handcross. They are all smartly dressed and perhaps it is a Sunday.
I think that boy on the left has borrowed his father’s bike!
The signpost points towards “Slaugham Common” and "Warninglid 3.”

Would the partial view of the building on the right be 4 Voices Cottages?

Starting from the farthest house, the first gable represents 1, 2, and 3 Highbury Cottages, the next gable is 4 and 5 Highbury Cottages, the third gable is 6 Highbury Cottages and Anstees Cottage, and the fourth gable is Spring Cottage and Ivydene.
Then comes the terraced row of 4, 3, 2, 1 Voices Cottages, numbered from a different direction to Highbury Cottages and nearby Warren Cottages!
You are correct in suggesting that the partial view of the house on the right is 4 Voices Cottages.

With thanks to Jennie Pettit for supplying these.

Interesting to see the aerial view, quite different from my day.
I lived in the attic which covered the whole house, having a small window onto the side passage.

Ms Berry lived in Ivydene and Jim Biggs lived in Anstees Cottage, as far as I can remember back in 1940-1948.
