Vanguard accident - Man with broom

The back half of the Vanguard bus ended up on the edge of the road, with the front half hanging over a steep bank; see picture #836.
As can be seen, the top half is missing having been sliced off by a large oak bough a few seconds before the lower half came to rest.
The gentleman, no doubt in a state of shock with his broom at the ready, cuts a lonely figure as he surveys the scene.
